Veterans Honorary Street Map of Chicago
Veterans Day 2016
Honorary Chicago is proud to highlight the Veterans who have Chicago streets named in their honor.
While performing the research for the Honorary Chicago series it became very clear that many of the brown sign honorees are also veterans. We are showcasing our Honorary Veterans' map. Most of the honorees were better known and recognized for accomplishments and contributions to the City of Chicago which were unrelated to the time they spent serving our country. We thank them for their service to our country and to our city, communities, professions, and world.
Honorary Chicago would like to recognize the heroes among us this Veterans Day.
Scroll over the map to find the name and branch of service. See below the map for the list of names. There are very many veterans who have not yet been identified. If you know of anyone who should be on this list and map please contact us. share@honorarychicago.com
