Herb Kent 'The Cool Gent' had the longest career of any radio DJ in history.   He lived to be 88 years old. His autobiography "The Cool Gent: The Nine Lives of Radio Legend Herb Kent." was published in 2009.  His honorary street sign is located in the Hyde Park neighborhood.
