Samuel Julian Lay

Sam Lay was a R&B and blues singer and drummer. He recorded on Chess Records and performed with such greats as: Muddy Waters, Little Walter, The Original Thunderbirds, Willie Dixon, Junior Wells, and John Lee Hooker.

In 2015 he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. He is also in the Blues Hall of Fame and the Jazz Hall of Fame.

Otis Clay was a singer of soul and R&B music. He was born in Mississippi and came to Chicago in 1957 as a gospel singer.

In 2013 he was inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame
